Biography:

Curtis McKinney was born in El Reno, OK, but grew up in Midland, Texas. He was graduated from Midland Lee High School in 1965 and then attended Texas Tech University.

He was trained as a paratrooper and as a medic. He was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division during his second tour of Vietnam when he was killed October 5, 1968.

McKinney was deeply devoted to his church and his family. He also enjoyed sports.
