Biography:

Tommy Wayne Bryant survived his tour in Vietnam, Dec. 1968 to July 1970. He served as a member of the Permian Basin Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Committee until his death March 17, 1992. For a majority of his time in Vietnam, Bryant was a field medic.

He was born Oct. 21, 1947 in Abilene and graduated from Odessa Permian High School. He then attended Sul Ross State University, San Antonio College, and Southwest Texas State University. He greatly enjoyed golf.
